Access denied when saving as MSWord document

To resolve WordPerfect "Access denied: you do not have the rights to do this" when trying to save a file as a MS Word 97/2000/2002 for Windows document

i. goto c:\users\username\appdata\local
ii. delete temp folder [might be necessary to first delete contents before deleting folder]
iii. create a new temp folder
